I have to decide by the end of July who to use my franchise tag on and which 2 guys to restrict going into our free agency period. The guys on my roster that contracts are up are Mike Wallace, Hakeem Nicks, Jeremy Maclin and Eric Decker. I'm thinking franchising Nicks and restricting Wallace and Maclin. Any help would be appreciated!
Without knowing the WR market in your league it tough to know. How many other receivers will become unrestricted or restricted? Do you have any other WRs on your roster that are under contract? It sounds like you plan on letting Wallace become an unrestricted free agent.
I still have the following players under contract:
Sam Bradford
Fred Jackson
LeSean McCoy
Jordy Nelson
Jason Witten
Eli Manning
Robert Meachem
Jacoby Ford
I could cut those guys, but most only have 1 year left so they are not taking up much room on my "cap" - we get 30 years to spread out among 17 players. You can not renew a players contract after you sign them. If you Franchise a player, you can sign them to multiple years.
Without knowing exactly what the other owners are going to do, there should be a few other quality receivers available as RFA's. I was thinking letting Decker go, but pairing him with Peyton should increase his value. It doesn't cost me anything to restrict these guys, if I don't want to match the highest offer from the other owners I can simply let the player go.
Also not sure if I should count on Nicks, as he seems to get injured every year. Maybe I should Franchise Wallace and roll the dice and hope the bidding on Nicks doesn't go sky high. If it does, there do look to be some other good options to make a bid on.

Your league sounds fun. Of your receivers I like Nicks the most and would try to lock him up long term. Restrict Wallace, his value seems lower based on the end of last season, and maybe you can retain him for not too much. Decker is such a wild card. Hard to predict exactly what type of season he will have. Manning has to throw it to someone, though.

I have Jeremy Maclin restricted, and his auction has gone up to 6 years. Do I match this offer? Or do I save those years and go after a guy like Wes Welker or keep them saved to give additional years to Nicks and draft picks?
