    Federal Reserve News

There are big time happenings right now with regards to the Fed so I'm just going to condense all these new stories to one topic.

The public backlash against Bernanke and his traitorous cronies is becoming a powerful force amongst the citizenry and even in the government. This sham system will be exposed for what it is before too long. Don't be surprised to see another artificial crisis and the Fed coming to the rescue though.

We (Americans) are accomplishing a huge task with this movement. Pressure cannot be let up.

Please contact your Senators and let them know they need to vote for the audit or risk losing office. We need this to pass through the Senate and the only way we can get our Senators to vote for it is if we threaten their jobs, because you know the lobbyists will be pushing hard to not let this get through.

    RE: Federal Reserve News

This week, the House of Representatives is expected to vote on Barney Frank's financial regulatory reform bill, which is yet another thousand page-plus attempt to increase the powers of Congress and the Federal Reserve while destroying more of what little free market our country has left.

Contact Congress and tell your representative you have seen enough of the federal government's thousands of pages of regulations and tinkering around in our economy.

Composed of several bills, the final package up for vote is H.R. 4173, slyly titled "The Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act." With amendments, this legislation now exceeds 1500 pages!

H.R. 4173 would create more government bureaucracies to interfere with market operations, and, according to Subtitle G of the bill, the federal government would also have direct authorization to take over and break up any financial institution it deems to be "too big to fail."

So imagine what Congress, well-skilled in articulating pseudo-justifications, would then be able to do, by law, to any institution that resisted its interventions!

Your representative needs to hear from you immediately! Find your congressman's information here.

Be sure to urge your representative to set a new tone in Washington by instead supporting an up or down, standalone vote on Audit the Fed, H.R. 1207. Before Congress even considers the Federal Reserve's future role in our economy, it should know what the Fed is up to with the powers it currently has.

It's long past time to deliver the answers the American people want and deserve about what is being done with their money.

Tell your representative to oppose H.R. 4173 and to push for a standalone vote on Ron Paul's Audit the Fed bill!

    RE: Federal Reserve News

Well, I called and left a message at Charlie Wilson's office today (he sucks on Pelosi's toes, I think), and this is the most unanswering answer I have ever gotten! Ughhh!!!
Oh and BTW, this answer only includes one (1) answer to the three statements I made. I guess the other two don't count? LOL

Thank you for contacting me about HR 1207, the Federal Reserve Transparency Act of 2009. I appreciate hearing from you on this issue.

As you know, this legislation directs the Comptroller General to complete an audit of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, followed by a detailed report to Congress. Please rest assured, as a member of the Financial Services committee, I will closely examine this legislation and should it come to a vote, I will keep your thoughts in mind.
In order to best represent the people of Ohio’s Sixth Congressional District, I rely upon communication from you and others to help keep me informed about the issues that matter in the lives of Ohioans. I hope that you will continue to keep me informed of your views and provide me with information about issues before the Congress that are important to you.

Again, thank you for taking the time to write to me and inform me of your opinion. I look forward to continuing to represent you in the future, and I encourage you to contact me if I can be of any assistance to you or your family.

    Sincerely,

    Charlie Wilson
    Member of Congress

    RE: Federal Reserve News

    My response from Sherrod Brown.

Thank you for sharing your views on The Federal Reserve Transparency Act.

This bill would require an audit of the Federal Reserve by the end of 2010, followed by a mandatory report to Congress on the findings of the Audit within 90 days.

On February 26th, 2009, this bill was introduced by Representative Ron Paul of Texas and referred to the House Committee on Financial Services. A companion bill, the Federal Reserve Sunshine Act, was introduced in the Senate on March 16, 2009, and was referred to the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs.

These are difficult times and I share your frustrations and concerns about transparency and accountability. Should this legislation be brought before the Senate for a vote, I will certainly keep your views in mind. Thank you again for getting in touch with me.

    Sincerely,

    Sherrod Brown
    United States Senator

    RE: Federal Reserve News

Footie, just for you (the bolded part)
Everything else is for everybody else lol

There is no question that people are angry, and for good reason.

The fraudulent financial policies of the Federal Reserve and its lackeys in the White House and Congress have literally bankrupted the country. Real unemployment is most likely over 20%. Taxes (along with costly fees, regulations, restrictions, penalties, mandates, etc.) at every level are going through the ceiling. America's jobs have been outsourced. Barack Obama continues G.W. Bush's irresponsibility, digging America deeper and deeper into foreign entanglements, at the cost of trillions of dollars and thousands of lives. The IRS continues to harass and harangue honest citizens, squeezing them like the proverbial turnip. And now, add the insanity of a global climate treaty being hammered out in Copenhagen, and a universal health care bill being rammed through Congress, and the outlook is even gloomier.
The fact is, we do need a revolution! But not a revolution of anarchy and pitchforks. (The history of France should be ample evidence of the futility of this strategy.) We need a revolution of the individual states: to reclaim their sovereignty and fight for the liberties of their sovereigns (We the People). That is exactly what our forefathers did in '76.
It is my observation that Washington politicians and bureaucrats are the most paranoid people on the planet. The problem is--as with most power-hungry Machiavellians--their paranoia often translates into more oppression and less liberty for the citizenry. And if this is true, it simply means that the states need to hurry up and do what needs to be done!

^^^Thanks for the post CBH....the entire quote represents the feelings of the common libertarian platform. Even though libertarians do disagree on some issues, they are all in agreement in what you've posted here.

Now....my next chore...to teach conservatives why the war in Iaq/AfPak is morally, financially, and humanly diespicable...and not an ideolology that conforms to conservative thinking. Here's an appetizer for those who want to learm a little.

For the war mongers. Read and learn.
