I've had the Crime. Way too hot. You could actually taste the oil from the peppers in the beer.

I have a bottle of the Punishment in the fridge. Might end up making red beers from this bottle as I'm sure it's going to be as bad as Crime.

I think it'd be great cook with. Make a beer chicken or something like that. Punishment was EVEN hotter than Crime, by a significant margin. If you try and drink a whole bottle, godspeed.

Yesterday I went down to Listermann's and had some of the new Quaff Bros. Broot. It's a bourbon barrel aged ale with root beer flavoring. Holy shit, I loved it. Picked up 3 bombers for this weekend. They probably won't make it through today.

I might have to go there tomorrow or Sunday. The Wife has been having a craving for Gordo's.

I bought some shoes from a drug dealer. I don't know what he laced them with, but I've been tripping all day.

Dinner at Brewery Vivant, because I'm in Grand Rapids for business. Tripel was meh, but the imperial stout and barrel strong Belgian ale was great. Founders tomorrow

Yes. Yes. They can't go down to the cellar pub.

Tried two new beers I had never heard of before while I was in Chicago this week.

First I had a "Casper White Stout" by James Page Brewery. No joke, it looked like a cheap light beer when you poured it out of the can. But it was a stout, and it tasted like white chocolate. It was fucking fantastic.

I also had a "Not Your Father's Root Beer" by Small Town Brewery. It's 10% abv, but literally tastes just like you're drinking a Barq's root beer. It was absolutely amazing...and so dangerous. I had 3 at dinner and was feeling really good. Tasted even better since it was on the boss's tab.

I've also had this and it's exactly like you said, tastes like root beer and is dangerous as hell.

Fortunately I believe they don't sell them outside of individual bottles. A six pace would wreck most
