Hmm. I disagree. Not the best, but not turrible.

Like 2014 Pumking, 12DGA seems to be light on the spices. GLBCCA better not be!

I feel stupid stating this, but Shock Top Pumpkin Wheat is actually not that bad.

Had a SN Celebration tonight. Always look forward to this beer, pretty good stuff. Easy drinking at almost 7%, anyone see this guy yet?

Had a rampant tonight, not nearly as bad as I recalled it being.

    Curly you dead or something?

Do you mean 12DCA? As in "12 Dogs of Christmas Ale?"

Their beer is definitely different from GLB Christmas Ale, though I actually like 12 Dogs more. Lately, GL has been lowering the ABV of the Christmas Ale, and it seems like there's more spice in it every damn year, to the point that I can just take it or leave it. It tastes like a damn wassail. I like Christmas beer, but I want it to still taste like beer. I don't need it to taste like Santa's elves' Christmas cheer.

Dude probably got some under-the-table grain alcohol at Jungle Jim's.

    Prost, Curly.

I'm here. Haven't had a whole lot of new beers lately. I did pick up a 4 pack of Fat Heads Hop Stalker last night after cigars. I haven't tried it yet. We finally got Sweet Water here in Cincy, so I'll try them this weekend.

Jungle Jims Pint Nite tonight features Rogue...I think I'll pass.

Justin not sure if you heard but Rivertown is now under a single ownership. Jason bought out Randy. The will dive heavily into Sours. Also the Hop Bomber recipe is changing. The new Hop Bomber will be what Hulk Smash was. Great move as I loved Hulk Smash. They are also losing a brewer, who developed Hulk Smash, to Taft's Ale House...with the Ex Brew master at Triple Digit. Also joining Taft's is a brewer from Mt. Carmel. Rivertown also got a new bottler today. You can see it on their Facebook page.

Also Hamilton Ohio is getting a new brewery. Municipal Brew Works It will be in the old Municipal Building come Spring 2015. I know one of the owners and he was telling me months ago that it was in the works, when they were proposing the idea to City Council.

So is Dayton. A few of the Local Beer Bloggers made a trip up there last weekend with a Beer Bus Tour group. I believe there are 3 more start ups happening there too.

Braxton Brewing went over $60,000 on Kickstarter. Their goal was $30,000 and they reached it in 30 hours. They will be in Covington Ky.

Maryland opened their Growler policy, finally, so I can fill my Great Lakes Growler here.
I was going to go down to my local place and fill up on the following selection, still unsure which to grab for the game tomorrow:

    • Dogfish Punkin
    • Shipyard Pumpkinhead
    • Southern Tier Pumpking
    • Heavy Seas Great'ER Pumpkin
    • The Bruery Autumn Maple
