This isnt good. Does China own that much of the US that they can now sanction US companies?

China owns our debt, so therefore, they own us. It would be in our best interests to not piss off our main creditor.

It is a balance. Do we continue to support our ally Taiwan or do we tick off the Chinese? It has been a delicate balance going all the way to 1949. I'm not a huge fan of the move and perhaps we should have just curt the order in half. But, in a security sense, it was needed.

They own enough of it to collapse the dollar and our economy should they so choose.

They need our market to sell their goods to so it is not in their interest, but the day is not far off where that is something they could realistically afford to take the hit on if it meant crippling the U.S as a byproduct to advance whatever policy agenda they were trying to achieve.

Lot of truth to what you say here. The only catch....China is starting to figure it all out. They are now spending their surplus on their own defense systems.

I actually don't see China outlasting the US. A country with no organization or rules (business ethics) will not last.
