None of the above? He (or whoever is getting Chris Johnson) would be committing highway robbery.

Why not trade RunDMC who is most likely to fall off.

Why not trade RunDMC who is most likely to fall off.

Why is he most likely to fall off? He is the highest per game back in fantasy. He isn't facing 8 in the box like Johnson. And its only going to get worst with Britt now out.

I just think McFadden will slip up, and he is also quite injury prone (already missed 2 games this year), based on his time in the NFL.

Blount is spry, and imo on a better team. McFadden, while still the main back has Bush and now Marcel Reese to take carries. CJ has none, and has proven over his career 8 and 9 man fronts dont stop him. He is leading the league in TDs and is getting the goalline carries this year. It only take 1 hole a game for CJ to rip off a 35+ yard TD run. His home run threat is so great its tough to get rid of him.

Id think you could trade McFadden or even Blount for a guy like Eli or Stafford. It depends on what the other teams have, and maybe youd throw in another player. But it would keep CJ on your team, and imo, that is the best option for you going forward.

Thats just my opinion though, which you asked for. But its up to you. But dont be so adamant about something if you ask for opinions and they differ.

I'm obviously on a fence. I was looking for what you just posted. I'm not adamant about trading him just want opinions with some passion behind them. I want a spirited debate. My wrs are steady but 85 would start for me. I see Stafford throeing 40 times a game and averaging 25 per

I think Stafford is going to be huge the final 8 games. If you could nab him it would be great. But you might be able to get Stafford for less because the owner might not be as high on him, particularly with all his arm issues over the last 2 years.

Lineup WAS:
Romo
McFadden
CJ
Bryant
Crabtree
Z.Miller

Bench
Blount
Fred Jackson
Spiller
Bush
Ringer
Deon Butler
Lee Evans

Then Romo got hurt...traded Zach Miller for Henne(because no one else would trade me a QB) remember 16 team league so all QBs except Campbell were spoken for

Now lineup is

Henne
McFadden
CJ
Crabtree
Bryant
LEvans

bench
blount
fred jackson
spiller
bush
ringer
deon butler
jacoby jones

Best offer I have recieved was Stafford and Ocho Cino for Ringer and CJ28...I upgrade my QB and WR position plus will have an option between Jackson and Blount each week to start opposite of McFadden. I will continue to try to move Blount for a QB but maybe now you understand why I like Stafford and 85

Shit I wouldn't move Blount for Stafford and Ocho cinco

SO what do I do? The guy that has Stafford doesnt like any of my WRs and doesn't need a RB outside of CJ or McFadden. He has Stafford and Vick

Trade CJ for a better QB?

Peyton Manning for CJ
Drew Brees for CJ

I dont know, if you're so anxious to give up CJ, at least get something out of him. He is easily the most liquidated asset in fantasy football...don't give that up just because you want a QB. Hell, you're better off staying with your lineup with Henne in there then giving up CJ for Stafford. Offer Blount for Stafford...see what the guy says.

Laley23
11.02.2010, 07:34 PM
Yeah, if your giving up CJ, go after Peyton, Brees, Rivers, Rodgers.

A guy like Stafford should be had for Blount straight up. Otherwise, you are not being patient enough and giving in to quickly. Your team would suffer more than it will gain by the moves you have in place.

You guys are right. Thank you. I wish I hadn't dropped Troy Smith to pick up Tavaris Jackson last week lol. Would be nice if Moss ended up in Miami. I will just keep trying to move Blount for a QB

Should I drop Henne and pickup Favre and roll with Favre and Tavaris Jackson?(we can only have 2 qbs on roster)

Stay away from Minnesota..no thanks there.

Roll with Henne until you can swap Blount or CJ for a QB.

10-4...thanks for talking me off the ledge...I picked up Blount weeks ago thinking he would blow up then I could trade him for a WR 2...then Romo went down and sent my team into panic mode.

Andre Johnson for Chris Johnson?

Andre Johnson for Chris Johnson?

That is more like the type of trade you need to make if you give up CJ.

It is pretty fair, and upgrades your WR corps so much it would offset the hit your RB slot takes, particularly if DMC continues to roll and Blount continues.

SportsAndLady

I would get someone else to go along with Andre if you could..maybe a backup QB or a flex at best option.

I traded Blount and Lee Evans for Percy Harvin and Jonathon Stewart. Harvin upgrades my receiver corps and Stewart provides a nice bye week fill in at least this week for CJ and if Williams is hurt next week then next week for Run DMC

Updating a previous item. This week I not only kept McFadden and CJ28 on my roster but also added Matt Stafford and Percy Harvin

Trading Blount and Evans for Harvin and J.Stewart
Trading Fred Jackson for Matt Stafford

Thank God you came to use first :D:D

MUCH better trades than what you were initially throwing out there. I knew you could have Stafford for a much, much lower price. Fredjackson is even lower than I thought though, great trade.

Just traded Deangelo, Braylon, and MoMass for Ahmad Bradshaw. Good Trade?

My RB's were in need of a serious upgrade. Deangelo hasn't done shit this year, Braylon is kind of hit or miss, and I picked up Momass off of waivers and threw him in there just for the hell of it.

Yeah, good trade. MoMass is irrelevant. Deangelo is WAY worse than Bradshaw, and Braylon is like you said on or off. Bradshaw is a top tier back this year so yeah, good trade.

Didn't want to start a new thread so i'll just use this one. I'll be 8-2 after this week. Overall my teams pretty solid. Here's a quick rundown. Rodgers at QB, Bradshaw and LT at RB, Lynch in the flex position, Roddy White and DeSean Jackson at WR, and Marcades Lewis at TE. My main backups are Bush who should be returning soon, Mike Williams (Seattle), and Danny Amendola.

Question is, for most of the year, my RB's have been pretty weak. I just traded for Bradshaw, but I'm contemplating using LT and trying to upgrade at RB. Seems he's getting less effective as the year goes on, and the Jets are starting to use Shonn Greene more. So should I stick with LT for the rest of the year, or try to swing a trade while his value is still kinda high. I was thinking of maybe going after LeSean McCoy or Ray Rice. So, stick with LT, or trade him?

Id try to trade him. I doubt you get either Rice or McCoy though. McCoy has been dynamite for his owners averaging over 100 yards from scrimmage a game. Not sure on Rice, but he seems to be underachieving a little, but still doubt you get him for LT.

But I am with you. Greene will get the carries at the end I think, so Id try to unload LT.

I know I wouldn't get either of those guys for LT straight up, I was more planning on packaging him with another player, or two if need be.

In that case go for it. If you can get either McCoy or Rice for LT and a solid (but bench) player Id do it. McCoy and Rice are so valuable because of how many passes they catch. Particularly McCoy, if they stop him to like 40 yards running, he is still likely to have near 100 yards from scrimmage.

Damnit..I just tried to do the same with LT (package him and a WR for Hillis) and I just learned my league has a trade deadline...which was last week.

I'm thinking of going after McCoy first with a package of LT and Mike Williams, as the guy could use some help at WR. Hopefully it works lol.
